In 1996, Jody and Robin Thomas proudly took ownership of the Coryell County Commission Company in Gatesville, Texas. Both born and raised in the area, agriculture has always been a way of life for the Thomas family. That love for farming and ranching was passed down to their three children – Katie, Zach and Holly – who grew up learning the values of hard work, integrity, and community through the family business.

For three decades, the Thomas family has poured their hearts into caring for the auction barn and the people it serves, working every day to meet the individual needs of livestock producers. Following the unexpected passing of Jody Thomas in February 2025, Robin has continued forward with the business she and Jody built together, alongside their children. While this chapter brings change, the foundation remains the same. Robin’s leadership is grounded in years of hands-on experience, as she has been an essential part of the operation since the very beginning.

Today, Coryell County Commission Company remains a family-run barn with familiar faces, dependable service, and a deep appreciation for the buyers and sellers who have trusted us over the years. Our commitment to agriculture, our community, and the relationships built here continues to guide everything we do.
